The Desert Angel

Our Story

The Desert Angel is a faith-based ministry founded in October 2001 by Louise Downs Blain, driven by a heartfelt mission to support American troops in challenging conditions. What began as a small group of young adults from Louise's church making goodies and writing letters has transformed into a nationwide initiative. The organization now sends 'Miracle Boxes' filled with personal items, snacks, and words of encouragement to remind our troops that they are not forgotten.
