Our Story

Des Moines Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) began with a modest investment of $7,000 and has grown into a leading provider of affordable housing and services for older adults, low-income families, and persons with disabilities. Founded by visionaries from the United Church of Christ, RHF emphasizes a commitment to service and enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable populations across 198 communities in 29 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
