Our Story

Founded in 1865, the Denver Turnverein is the oldest organization of its kind in Colorado, established by German immigrants seeking refuge from war. This historic organization has been a cornerstone of the community, celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2015 and its 100th anniversary in its historic building in 2022.
