Founded in 1948 by Dr. Antonia Brico, the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra began as the Denver Businessmen’s Orchestra, providing a platform for local musicians. Evolving through various leaderships and name changes, it became the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra in 2004, aiming to redefine community engagement with classical music.
