Our Story

The Denver American Indian Festival is a vibrant, volunteer-run organization founded by members of the Colorado Native American community. This festival aims to educate, celebrate, and protect the rich cultural traditions and performing arts of the American Indian people. Through various educational and cultural events, including the annual festival held in September, the organization fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of Native American heritage.

Since its inception in 2014, the festival has welcomed over 20,000 attendees and 81 tribal representatives, creating a strong sense of community and cultural appreciation.
