The Denan Project

Our Story

The Denan Project was founded in 2004 by filmmaker Dick Young after witnessing the dire conditions of refugees in Ethiopia's Ogaden region. This organization is dedicated to empowering under-served communities through sustainable health and development programs.

Impact

Since its inception, over 550,000 individuals have received free medical care, with more than 50,000 people benefiting annually. The Denan Project has also awarded over $95,000 in micro-loans to foster economic growth.
