Founded in 1971, DeltaARTS is dedicated to providing creative writing workshops, art exhibits, art camps, and theater experiences for children and youth in the Arkansas Delta and surrounding communities. Located in West Memphis, the organization operates its programs at the Arts Education Center and Art Museum, as well as in schools and afterschool programs throughout the region. DeltaARTS integrates arts into education, enhancing academic skills through creative expression. For instance, students build literacy skills through engaging creative writing lessons and visual art projects that incorporate new vocabulary.
