Founded in 1961 by passionate individuals, Delaware Wild Lands is dedicated to protecting Delaware's critical coastal and natural resources. Through strategic land acquisition and management, the organization has safeguarded over 31,800 acres, including the Great Cypress Swamp and vital coastal regions.

Impact

Delaware Wild Lands has successfully restored and protected over 31,800 acres of vital natural areas, actively managing 21,800 acres to enhance biodiversity. The organization has also conveyed 10,000 acres to the State of Delaware for public recreation and education, ensuring the conservation of Delaware's landscapes for future generations.
