Founded in 1994 by passionate co-founders Robin Adams and Kathy Uhrman, Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue (DVGRR) has dedicated itself to rescuing and rehabilitating Golden Retrievers and other breeds in southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Initially operating through a foster home model, DVGRR recognized the urgent need for a dedicated facility, leading to the establishment of the Golden Gateway campus in 2000. This expansion has allowed DVGRR to provide comprehensive care for dogs in need, including an on-site veterinary center and a sanctuary for senior dogs and puppy mill survivors.
