Our Story
Founded in 1920, the Delaware Center for Justice has been at the forefront of advocating for legal reforms and civil rights in Delaware. From establishing a detention home for untried prisoners to creating a separate women’s prison, DCJ has continually evolved to meet the needs of the community. Over the past century, the organization has successfully passed 11 legal system reform bills, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to justice and equity.
