For over seven decades, Camp Del-Haven has dedicated itself to transforming the lives of children in Kansas City who are affected by crime and poverty. This unique summer camp experience is rooted in the Gospel of Christ, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 6 to 12. Each year, Camp Del-Haven invites children from homes where one or both parents may be incarcerated, offering them a free week of camp filled with spiritual growth and fun.

A Christ-Centered Experience

At Camp Del-Haven, every day begins with prayer and Scripture reading, setting the tone for a day filled with learning and growth. Campers engage in Bible devotions after meals and participate in two Bible studies daily. The camp culminates in a memorable campfire night where children share testimonies of their experiences and what they have learned throughout the week.

Engaging Activities

In addition to spiritual teachings, Camp Del-Haven offers a variety of engaging activities such as crafts, swimming, fishing, hiking, and sports. These activities not only provide enjoyment but also foster teamwork and community among the campers.

This newsletter features camp news, Bible devotions, and scripture memorization activities, ensuring that the teachings of the Gospel continue to resonate in their lives long after camp ends.
