Our Story

In 1982, the tragic abduction and murder of Deirdre O’Brien led to the establishment of a Child Advocacy Center in her honor. Deirdre’s House opened in 1996, creating a safe haven for child victims of abuse and neglect in Morris County.

Since its inception, Deirdre’s House has served over 55,000 child victims, offering critical medical, forensic, and counseling services that aid in their recovery.
