Founded in 1992, the Dedicated Animal Welfare Group of Laguna Niguel & Mission Viejo Inc (DAWG) emerged from the City Council's commitment to local animal services. With a shelter opening in 1993, DAWG became a 501c3 in 1995, dedicated to raising funds for the medical needs of homeless pets, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.
DAWG spends between $7,000 to $20,000 monthly on medical care, successfully rescuing and rehabilitating numerous pets each year, many of whom require urgent medical attention.
Your donations directly support the medical care of abandoned animals, enabling DAWG to provide critical treatments and surgeries that save lives. As a volunteer-run organization, 100% of donations go to the animals in need.
