Our Story

In 2005, Andrew McMahon, lead singer of Jack’s Mannequin, faced a life-altering diagnosis of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia at just 23 years old. This pivotal moment inspired the creation of the Dear Jack Foundation in July 2006, dedicated to advocating for young adults battling cancer. The foundation has since become a beacon of hope, providing essential support and community for hundreds of young cancer patients and survivors.
