Our Story

Founded in 1981, De Anza Cupertino Aquatics (DACA) began as a swim team dedicated to motivating youth to reach their fullest potential through swimming. Over the years, DACA has expanded its offerings to include a comprehensive aquatics program that serves all ages, from learn-to-swim classes to special needs instruction. The organization has developed a proven method of teaching swimming that emphasizes skill development, water safety, and a love for the water.

Impact

DACA has produced world-class student-athletes and coaches who represent the organization globally. Many swimmers have received athletic scholarships to colleges across the country, showcasing the effectiveness of DACA's programs. The organization prioritizes water safety and fitness for all ages, significantly contributing to the community's overall well-being.
