The DC Dream Center was founded by Sammie Morrison and Scott Dimock with a vision to create a community house in southeast Washington, DC. Gifted a house at 2909 Pennsylvania Ave. SE, they began serving the community and launched various programs, including mentoring and kids programs. Officially opened on August 23, 2017, the center aims to meet the needs of the community, especially youth, through a holistic approach.
Providing free programs and resources, the DC Dream Center helps the most vulnerable individuals in the community reach their God-given potential through mentoring, tutoring, and personal development.
