Our Story

Daytona Playhouse began in December 1946 when a group of passionate community members came together to form a theatre group. Originally named The Daytona Beach Little Theatre, the organization produced its first play in March 1947. Despite facing challenges, including a devastating fire that destroyed their original venue, the Playhouse persevered, relocating and rebranding in 1968. Today, Daytona Playhouse continues to provide diverse theatre experiences and opportunities for artistic expression.

Impact

Daytona Playhouse enriches the community through live theatre, offering high-quality productions and creative opportunities for all ages.
