The Daytona Beach Police Foundation was established in 2007 under the leadership of former Police Chief Mike Chitwood. This 501c3 organization is dedicated to raising funds through donations and various fundraising events throughout the year. The funds raised are utilized to provide education and training opportunities, as well as to purchase essential equipment for Daytona Beach Police Officers that is not covered by the Police Department’s annual budget.
