About Davis Arts Council

Founded in 1979, the Davis Arts Council (DAC) has become the largest community-based, arts-focused nonprofit organization in Davis County. With a mission to strengthen and enrich the community through the power of the arts, DAC hosts a vibrant summer season at the Edward A. Kenley Centennial Amphitheater, the 'front porch' of Layton City. Each summer, DAC presents 'Summer Nights with the Stars,' featuring a diverse array of local, national, and international performers.

Every year, DAC serves over 40,000 individuals, primarily through free programming. With the dedication of over 100 volunteers contributing around 5,000 hours annually, the impact on the community is profound.
