Founded in 1997, Davidson Housing Coalition (DHC) emerged from a community-driven Affordable Housing Task Force in Davidson, NC. The organization was established to combat the challenges posed by rapid development and rising land values, ensuring that safe and affordable housing remains accessible to all residents.

Impact

DHC has successfully provided affordable rentals and homeownership opportunities for residents earning 80% or less than the area’s median income. Through the development of communities like The Bungalows and Creekside Corners, DHC fosters a diverse and vibrant community.
