The David Raines Community Health Centers began in 1971 as the Cooper Road Medical Clinic, dedicated to serving low-income and uninsured families. Under the leadership of Dr. Larry Daniels, it became a federally qualified health center in 1992 and has since expanded to six locations across five cities in northwest Louisiana, employing around 200 staff members.
