Our Story

The David Nicklas Organ Donor Awareness Foundation was established in 1995 by Rodney and Isibelle DeBaun in memory of organ donor David Nicklas. This foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about organ donation and providing fully furnished, rent-free housing for transplant patients who travel long distances for medical care.

Impact

Nearly 100 families from 15 states have benefited from the foundation's support, receiving essential housing during their critical times of need. The foundation's efforts have significantly improved the lives of families awaiting organ transplants.
