Empowering Girls Through Healing and Support
Dominque Jones-Johnson's journey began with her father's incarceration, inspiring her to create Daughters Beyond Incarceration (DBI). Recognizing the profound impact of parental incarceration, she has dedicated herself to fostering a supportive environment for girls aged 8 to 18. DBI provides mentorship and resources to help these young girls heal and thrive.
Making a Lasting Impact
Since its inception in May 2018, DBI has successfully mentored over 70 girls in New Orleans and surrounding areas, helping them navigate the challenges of having an incarcerated parent.
