Our Story

Founded in 2014 by a passionate group of five women, Dark Sky Aerial emerged from a shared vision of blending performance art, dance, and social impact. Based in Flagstaff, Arizona—the world’s first International Dark Sky City—this unique aerial theatre company draws inspiration from its surroundings and the vibrant artistic communities of the San Francisco Bay Area. With a diverse ensemble of aerialists, dancers, acrobats, and visual artists, Dark Sky Aerial creates heart-stirring performances that challenge perceptions and push boundaries.
