Founded in 1999 by sisters Daniela Urbaez Olivares and Maria Fernanda Urbaez Tapia, Danmar Academy of Performing Arts was born from a deep passion for dance and music. Following Daniela's passing in 2007, the organization has continued to honor her legacy by promoting diversity and cultural appreciation through artistic programs.
Danmar has positively impacted the lives of hundreds of students, becoming a recognized multicultural organization in Houston.
