Our Story
Founded in 1884 by compassionate church women, Daniel Kids began as the Orphanage and Home for the Friendless in Jacksonville, Florida. Over the years, it has transformed to meet the evolving needs of abused, abandoned, and neglected children, as well as at-risk families.
Impact
Each year, Daniel Kids serves nearly 5,000 local children and families, providing essential therapeutic and supportive care at little or no cost.
