Dance Spotlight was founded by Babette Coffey-Fisch and Jeanne Suggs to document the Lester Horton Technique. Since becoming a nonprofit in 2011, it has focused on preserving historical dance techniques and making them accessible to dancers, instructors, and scholars worldwide.
Dance Spotlight has donated the Graham Beginning Video to over 450 dance teachers in NYC public middle and high schools, significantly expanding access to foundational dance techniques.
