About Dance Palace

Established in 1971, the Dance Palace serves as a vibrant community hub in West Marin. Originally founded as a dance studio, it became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1977, expanding its mission to include children's programs and community services. Since moving to its current location in 1989, funded by generous community contributions, the Dance Palace has hosted countless events and performances, supporting local artists and providing scholarships for children’s programs.

Impact

With over 90 performances and more than 480 classes annually, the Dance Palace plays a crucial role in the community. It offers free space for public service meetings and ensures that no child is turned away due to lack of funds through its scholarship programs.
