Our Story

Established in 2000 by Artistic Directors Hannah Baumgarten and Diego Salterini, Dance NOW! Miami is a vibrant force in the South Florida dance community. With a commitment to collaboration and innovation, the organization has become a beacon of contemporary dance, hosting a variety of projects including proscenium performances and immersive experiences through the Ekphrasis Project. Based at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex, Dance NOW! Miami is dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape of the region.

Impact

Dance NOW! Miami has positively transformed the lives of over 60,000 children through its educational programs, including in-school residencies and community performances. Recognized as 'Best Dance Company' by the Miami New Times, the organization has collaborated with over 260 artists and organizations, showcasing its work across sixteen states and three continents.
