Our Story
Danbury Youth Baseball was established with a vision to create a premier facility for learning and playing baseball. In 1934, Cephas B. Roger generously donated 25 acres of land to the City of Danbury, leading to the creation of Roger’s Park. Over the years, this park has evolved, with the first baseball field constructed in the early 1960s. Today, Danbury Youth Baseball offers a comprehensive program that combines top-notch instruction with competitive play, fostering a love for the game among young athletes.
Our Impact
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Danbury Youth Baseball dedicates 100% of all funds raised to enhance programs, facilities, and fields. The summer program has achieved remarkable success, including a World Series win in 1999 and multiple teams reaching World Series play, alongside numerous district, state, and regional trophies.
