Our Story
Founded in 1987 by Louis Tesconi, Damien Ministries was inspired by the life of Blessed Father Damien. Initially a volunteer-driven initiative, it has grown into a respected nonprofit organization in the District of Columbia, dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor living with HIV and AIDS.
