The Malta Dental and Medical Clinic was founded in 2004 by dedicated members of the Michigan Area Order of Malta, inspired by a conversation with Bishop Thomas Gumbleton. This clinic is committed to delivering exceptional and compassionate dental, medical, and eye care free of charge to uninsured residents of metro Detroit.

Since its inception, the Clinic has served over 20,000 uninsured, low-income patients, demonstrating the effectiveness of its volunteer-driven model.
