Our Story
The Dallas Bears began in 1993 as a social group for men identifying as Bears, founded by Danny Keller, Chris, and David Ellis. Evolving into a nonprofit organization in December 2004, the Dallas Bears focus on community service and support for local charities, particularly in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Impact
Since its inception, the Dallas Bears have raised over $1 Million for local charities through various fundraising events, including the Texas Bear Round-Up, which has grown to over 1,900 registrants annually.
