Our Story

Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) was founded by three visionaries from the United Church of Christ with a modest investment of $7,000. Today, RHF operates 182 communities across 27 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, dedicated to building and preserving affordable housing for vulnerable populations.
