About the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center

The Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center (DARCC) was founded in 2007 as the only independent, comprehensive rape crisis center in Dallas County. Dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence, DARCC engages and educates communities to prevent sexual violence and help survivors heal.

Impact in the Community

Since its inception, DARCC has trained 796 volunteer advocates and answered over 16,000 crisis hotline calls, reaching more than 124,000 individuals through outreach and education.
