Our Story

DREAM Alive, Inc. was founded in 2001 by former Indianapolis Colts Offensive Tackle, Tarik Glenn, and his wife Maya. Initially focused on creating community centers, the organization shifted its mission to mentoring youth in Indianapolis Public Schools. By guiding students from 7th grade through high school graduation, DREAM Alive aims to break the cycle of poverty and cultivate civic-minded leaders.

Impact

Since 2011, DREAM Alive has achieved a remarkable 100% high school graduation rate among its scholars, significantly higher than the 72% average. The program also boasts a 96% career outcomes rate, with reduced suspension rates and increased aspirations among participants.
