Founded in 1998 by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and HumanitiesDC, the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative brings together cultural institutions and individual practitioners to enhance arts education in Washington, D.C.

DC Collaborative has engaged over 750,000 students across all eight wards of D.C.'s public education system, including public charter schools.
