The Cumberland Valley Rails-to-Trails Council is an all-volunteer organization committed to preserving the natural beauty and history of Pennsylvania's Cumberland Valley. Since 1992, this dedicated group has transformed former railroad corridors into multi-use trails, promoting recreation and alternative transportation.
With the successful development of the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail, spanning approximately 13 miles, the organization has created a premier destination for walking, jogging, bicycling, and horseback riding, enhancing community engagement and preserving local history.
