Our Story
Founded in 2008 by Clarinda Mac Low, Aki Sasamoto, and Arturo Vidich, Culture Push is an artist-founded organization that blurs the lines between art, politics, and social experimentation. With a strong foundation in the performing and visual arts, the founders aim to challenge societal norms through innovative projects.
Our Impact
As a 501c3 nonprofit, Culture Push relies on generous contributions to support its mission. Since the inception of the Fellowship in 2012, nearly 40 socially engaged projects have been launched, addressing critical issues such as queer empowerment, feminist discourse, and community dialogue in gentrified neighborhoods. These initiatives include workshops, performances, and digital platforms that foster civic engagement and social practice.
