In 1979, innovators at Columbia University united to address the homelessness crisis in New York City. Their mission was to connect faculty and students with those often overlooked. Today, CUCS Housing Development Fund Corporation III operates independently, continuing to develop affordable housing and provide integrated programs that link housing, health, and social services for the city’s most vulnerable populations.
