Our Story

Founded in 1989 by Dr. John Birdzell and the Crown Point Rotary members, the Crown Point Community Foundation was established to create a public charitable organization dedicated to building permanently endowed funds for community needs. Officially incorporated in 1990, the foundation now manages over 363 funds with assets exceeding $40 million.
