Our Story

The Croton Housing Network was established in the mid-1980s in response to a pressing housing crisis in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. Initiated by Mayor Roland Bogardus, this task force evolved into a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on developing affordable housing solutions. Over the years, the organization has successfully completed numerous housing projects, including townhouses and rental units, aimed at providing affordable options for low- to moderate-income families and seniors.

Our Impact

With the creation of seven houses and 29 rental units, the Croton Housing Network has made a significant impact on the availability of affordable housing in the community. Despite facing challenges such as community opposition and funding limitations, the organization remains committed to providing safe and affordable living conditions for those in need.
