Inspired by Pope St. John Paul II's call to action at World Youth Day in 1993, Crossroads began its mission in 1995 with a Pro-Life walk across America. This initiative, organized by students from Franciscan University of Steubenville, aimed to promote the dignity and sanctity of all human life, especially the unborn. Covering 3,200 miles from San Francisco to Washington, DC, the summer walk engaged college-age young people in advocating for the Pro-Life movement.
Since its inception, Crossroads has witnessed to millions about the sanctity of life, engaged in peaceful protests, and provided support to women affected by abortion. Over 1,000 college-age young people have participated in their walks, making Crossroads a vital organization in the Pro-Life movement.
