The CROP Organization was founded by a dedicated leadership team while incarcerated in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Confronted with the challenges of a self-destructive prison environment, they developed programs that fostered a culture of restoration and support. By encouraging incarcerated men to uplift one another, CROP has successfully trained hundreds in personal leadership development and launched a pioneering Alcohol and Other Drug training program.

Now back in the community, CROP provides comprehensive reentry support and 12 months of intensive training for formerly incarcerated individuals, focusing on tech careers. With $27 million awarded for a holistic reentry pilot program, CROP is set to serve 390 individuals over three years, showcasing its profound impact on the community.
