Our Story
Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia was formed through the merger of the Crisis Line of Middle Georgia, established in 1978, and The Salvation Army Safe House of Macon, founded in 2000. This organization has expanded its services to include a 24-hour crisis hotline, a confidential shelter, two sexual assault centers, a legal services division, and an in-house counseling center.
Impact
Providing crisis intervention and safe shelter, CL&SH empowers victims of domestic violence and sexual assault to heal and reclaim their voices while educating the community on violence prevention.
