Our Story

The Crisis Center of West Texas, established in 1981, has evolved from the Odessa Rape Crisis Center to a comprehensive support system for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. With the opening of the Louise Wood Angel House in 2019, a state-of-the-art shelter, the organization now serves a nine-county area, offering vital services such as counseling, legal advocacy, and prevention education.
