Established in 1986, Wimberley Crisis Bread Basket was born from a collaboration of local church groups aiming to combat food insecurity in the Wimberley area. Operating solely on volunteer support and community donations, this organization has grown to provide essential food assistance to those in need.

Impact

In 2022, Wimberley Crisis Bread Basket delivered 3,518 weekly food distributions to 325 households, with over half of these families accessing services for the first time. The organization has continually adapted its offerings to meet the evolving needs of the community.
