Assisting Crime Victims

Our Story

Founded in July 1989, the Crime Victims Advocacy Council Inc. (CVAC) emerged from the urban ministry program of the United Methodist Church to address the unmet needs of crime victims. This nondenominational organization provides compassionate support to individuals affected by crime, regardless of their background. By collaborating with churches, community organizations, and dedicated individuals, CVAC strives to create a network of resources and services for those in need.

Impact

CVAC advocates for victims and survivors by offering spiritual healing through prayer and encouragement, alongside practical assistance through education and resource referrals. This holistic approach helps individuals cope with crises, trauma, and loss.
