Our Story
Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound was founded in January 1988 by Detective Myrle Carner from the Seattle Police Department. Initially serving Seattle and King County, the organization encourages community members to provide anonymous tips to local law enforcement, fostering a safer environment.
Impact
Since its inception, Crime Stoppers has paid nearly $1 million in rewards, leading to over 14,000 arrests and the resolution of more than 12,000 felony cases.
