Our Story

Founded in December 2013, Crenshaw Health Partners Inc. emerged from a vision to empower veterans and senior citizens in Los Angeles County. Recognizing the challenges faced by underserved communities in understanding their health needs, a dedicated group of entrepreneurs established this nonprofit to provide essential resources and support. With the launch of Covered California and its Navigator Program, Crenshaw Health Partners became a Certified Enrollment Entity, offering free enrollment assistance and educational outreach. The grand opening of the Enrollment Center in Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza in June 2014 marked a significant milestone in the organization’s journey. In July 2019, Crenshaw Health Partners Inc. officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, committed to enhancing health literacy and providing vital health-related information.

The organization is dedicated to reducing morbidity and mortality rates, particularly in Black and Brown communities, by improving health literacy and disseminating reliable health information.
